Fosamax, Zometa and Aredia

These drugs, known as bisphosphonates, are prescribed typically for women to treat osteoporosis (bone loss) and to increase bone mass in men with osteoporosis. It has recently been linked to causing osteonecrosis of the jaw (ONJ) or “dead jaw”. This is a severe condition where the jaw dies and is unable to regenerate or grow back, leading to extreme pain and exposed bone in the mouth. If you have taken one of these drugs and have suffered ONJ or “dead jaw” please contact the Niedenthal Law Firm and we will assist you in determining if you have a claim against the drug manufacturer for your injury. We are here for you!
