Defective Products Generally
Everyday of our lives we come in contact with products, many of which are designed to make our lives easier and in some cases, safer. With children there are toys, car seats and boosters, bikes, sports equipment and jet skis. As adults, we use kitchen appliances, washers and dryers, boats and machinery at our workplaces to assist in doing our jobs. Most products are safely designed and manufactured and if used properly, pose little risk of injury. However there are those products we come in contact with which are not designed or manufactured properly, or for which the manufacturer fails to warn about unforeseen dangers and as a result, cause injury and death to those who use the products.
If you are injured by a product which has been badly designed or not manufactured to specifications you may have a claim against the manufacturer for placing the defective and dangerous product on the market. It can be a product you are injured by while using it in during your personal life, or a product you use at work which injures you. These claims against the responsible manufacturer, and sometime even the party who sold you the product, are referred to as products liability claims. Craig Niedenthal has been working on these types of claims for 25 years, both in representing the manufacturer of the product and now in representing the injured and wronged against the manufacturer of the defective product. If you or someone you know has been injured by a product, whether on your own time or as part of your job at work, contact the Niedenthal Law Firm and we will use our expertise in these type of cases to see if the manufacturer is responsible and should pay for the injuries received from use of the product.
